Of course, it was a trial run, so I'll give it a few more tries, but really, the cake balls were too small and the chocolate was too thick and I made an unfortunate color choice and they actually look like boobs pops~my charming husband was the one to point that out! Oh, and they are too heavy to go in the packaging and simply make the whole box fall over! Not cute! So, all in all, just a few technical glitches to iron out! :)
Of course, Connor did gobble one down in about 3.2 nanoseconds, so at least they have that going for them...I guess that doesn't really say too much though, since he would probably scarf down dog doo if it was chocolate coated...The boy simply does not say no to sugar in any form!
Oh well, at least my next try HAS to be better!
I think your booby pops are cute! tee-hee! The idea is so cute. Once you work out the glitches they are going to be AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteso when i made them for eddie's bday party i first dipped the sticks into the candy coating, let it dry, then dipped again, this time sticking them up the balls' (i didn't have a cookie cutter at the time that would work) bottoms - wow, talk about dirty.
